Well...That Didn't Work

The Nature Of Time

The nature of time simply irritates
Our attempts to package and control it only adds to our irritation
We use it as a symbol of success
And point to it accusingly as an indication of failure
Generally we resent its control

In our efforts to disentangle from time
We end it
By giving ourselves up
To the packaging

Dear Diary,

I e-mailed everyone in my address book.

Dear Diary,

I received no replies to the e-mails I sent out?

Dear Diary,

I deleted all the addresses in my e-mail account.

What I Want Is Irrelevant

I’ve been told that words fall from my mouth
Like cross stitch pictures framed on the wall

Bumper stickers
25 second sound bites

Who’s got time to listen anymore?

I Believe the Correct Term is Bull Dykes

Grace & Goodwill were
walking on the sidewalk
hand in hand

Enjoying the day

Enjoying each other

Enjoying the sun shining down
and the vibrant colours of the people and the street

Smiling and laughing

Swinging their clasped hands

Humming a tune together

When…
Some fat bitch shrew and her wind-up husband

Passed them on the street with a sniff and

Commented to her pet man loud enough for all to hear

Bull Dog Dykes

Then the shrew and her disciple laughed

Grace & Goodwill continued walking
