Her opinion was raped
Most of her life
Violated for the usual reasons
Lust........ Power.....
... Greed....
.... Pain........ Boredom........ Fear...
..... Ignorance
Used
Then cast aside
Her opinion now sits shivering
Cold and afraid,
cowering and wary
Alone
Men-O-Pause
Echoes
of
Silence
and
Laughter
And some few Fears
Leaking through a gossamer barrier
Called Time

Ivanovitch, his Wife Ivy and Mr. Stud
Ivanovitch talked about Ivy to me
And after listening to Ivanovitch
And listening to Ivanovitch’s stories about Ivy
I asked to meet her.
“I’d like to meet your ex-wife Ivanovitch” I said.
Ivanovitch replied, “OK”.
An e-mail introduction.
“Ivanovitch here, I’d like you to meet”.
He provided each of us with a telephone number and an e-mail address.
I replied to Ivy immediately.
I’m not sure but I may not have had anything better to do?
After reading Ivy’s delayed response I told Ivanovitch,
“I don’t want to meet Ivy any more”.
“That’s OK with me”, said Ivanovitch.
Later Ivanovitch told me he had a new girlfriend
“Good for you!”, I exclaimed.
“Are you jealous?”, he confused me by asking.
“No”, I answered puzzled, “Why should I be?
” That was the last time I saw Ivanovitch.
I never met his wife Ivy.
I met Mr. Stud around the same time I met Ivanovitch.
It was that kind of week.
Mr. Stud kept advising me of my options
and couldn't seem to hear me when I replied, "I know".
He didn't like Ivanovitch, Mr. Stud, and he wasn't fond of Gomer Grunt, Mr. Shaw or Fred either.
But his stories were titillating
and everyone else seemed quite busy,
so I tried playing with Mr. Stud for awhile
but we just couldn't seem to meet.
Gomer Grunt told me Mr. Stud was an idiot
and Fred said he just wanted a peek.
Mr. Shaw simply wouldn't discuss it.
So in the end
I was forced to write off the whole week.
